AI receptionist and voice agents

DeYo Technologies is a custom software studio based in Indian Land, SC. We build AI receptionists and voice agents that answer your business line, handle common questions, book jobs, and follow up on missed calls, with a hand-off to a person.

What's going wrong

You're on a roof, under a sink, or halfway through an install, and the phone rings. By the time you call back, the customer may have already called someone else. Voicemail doesn't book anything.

This tends to hit businesses where the owner is the one on the job: home repair, remodeling, cabinetry, and other trades.

What we build

  • An AI voice agent that answers your business line, handles common questions, and books jobs.
  • A follow-up on missed calls, so a lead that didn't get through doesn't go cold. You decide what it says.
  • A hand-off to a person when the call needs one, or when the agent isn't sure.
  • Rules you set: what it can answer, what it can book, and when a person steps in.

A real example

Example

Same approach, built for a manufacturer

Our closest example is a product and spec support agent trained on a manufacturer's manuals and spec sheets. It answers customer and distributor questions 24/7 and escalates to a person when it's unsure. A voice receptionist works the same way: built on your own information, answering what it can and handing off the rest. We don't have a voice client to show you yet, and we'd rather tell you that than invent one.

What it costs

A voice receptionist is deployed under the Custom AI Agent Deployment package, connected to your phone line. How it connects depends on your carrier and phone system, so we check your phone setup first.

Custom AI Agent Deployment

$5,000 setup (one-time) plus a $1,200/month retainer that covers ongoing tuning and monitoring of your agent.

How it starts

We start by listening: which calls you get, which ones you miss, and what you'd want said. Then we check your phone setup, since that decides how the agent connects. Your proposal starts with one kind of call, such as booking a job or following up on a missed one.

Common questions

Will an AI receptionist sound robotic?

It will sound like a synthetic voice, and that's fine when it's clear and helpful. We write the greeting and wording to sound like your business, and you listen to test calls before it answers a real one.

Can I keep my phone number?

Keeping your number is usually the goal. How the agent connects depends on your carrier and phone system, so we'll check your phone setup before we promise anything.

What if the AI receptionist doesn't know the answer?

It hands the call to a person, or takes a message and flags it for you. You choose which, and what the caller is told.

Can it answer calls after hours?

Yes, it isn't tied to your schedule. You decide what it does when you're closed or busy: answer common questions, book a job, or take a message for the next morning.

How much does an AI receptionist cost?

A custom AI agent, including a voice receptionist, is $5,000 to set up and then $1,200/month for ongoing tuning and monitoring. We confirm the scope with you before we start.
